v17 It has been almost 1 year since we released VIRTUES v16. Back then we really thought v16 would be the last major update of VIRTUES. We used 10 weeks to create an insane amount of content (700+ new pictures and 70+ animated scenes) and thought “this is it, we’ve put a good end to the journey of VIRTUES. It is not a perfect end, there are regrets, but it is still a good end. We made it. We finish our first project instead of abandoning it halfway. There may be a v17 at some point in the future, but it will be a minor update, you know, like a DLC kind of stuff.” I kept this thought even until last December, until we really began to develop this v17 update. But as soon as I re-entered the world of VIRTUES, I changed my mind. I realized there were still so many things I want to tell, so many scenes I want to make for those girls, the girls that used to be a big part of my life for more than 2 years. Thus I changed my plan, and I changed it again and again during the last two months. More and more scenes were added, more and more lines were written, and less and less time I slept every day. And in the end, this update became so big that we couldn’t even imagine it. It became even bigger than v16. It has more than 900+ new pictures and 70+ animated scenes, with the greatest amount of text. V17 is the last major update of VIRTUES. It is the biggest update we’ve ever made, and maybe the lewdest one as well. Still, it is not a perfect end and there are regrets, but we have done our best and we hope you will enjoy our hard work. I will write a post as the final summary of the journey of VIRTUES in a few days. As for now, let’s just take a brief look at what’s new in the update: Irene’s solo ending The silver kitten finally got her solo ending. Her ending contains two long branches, and each of them leads to a unique happy end. You will help this girl solve her confusion and decide the path of her future. Elisa’s solo ending Just like her little daughter, this blonde milf’s solo ending also contains two long branches. This poor lady was deeply wounded from her previous marriage and she really needs you to take her away from the curse from her past. The afterstory of your harem There will be 4 major parts of your harem’s afterstory: Vera’s college dream, Uno’s real family, Senning’s daily life after her mother left the country, and the Shinyrost mother&daughter’s male worship. Each of them contains a tremendous amount of harem scenes. v16 v16 is the biggest update of VIRTUES, and it will be the last update in the beta period of VIRTUES. It has more than 700+ new pictures, 70+ animated scenes, and 30k new words. Its volume is equal to v14 and v15 combined. There are only 5 new events in this update, but each of them is larger than any extra chapters or what-if chapters. These are the five major endings of the game. I have put everything I want to show you in them. For me, there are no regrets... ... other than some annoying grammar mistakes, sorry about that~ Oh, no, there are still some regrets... that I couldn't make Irene and Elisa's happy solo endings in v16. Don't worry, I will give them their happy solo ending in v17. Yes, there will be a v17. But v17 won't be coming very soon. I will write a post about the v17 plan in a few days. This short storyline is about the conflict of two harem cultures and the art of sex for mature women~ - Rachel At this point I have to admit that I made some mistakes in developing Rachel's story & background before, and I'm deeply sorry for failing to make her a more attractive girl. I have done what I can in this update to enrich her character and fix her story & background. I know it's not enough and I'm not very satisfied with it, but I hope you will like this girl a little more, even just a little more. - Your harem is developing When you are living with these three cuties, every day becomes a holiday~ Senning is getting along with your other harem members pretty well~ The sisters are fixing their relationship~ -Further Theodora and Senning are having new solo plots~ v13 - Take girls to You can now take Theodora to the dungeon after her submissiveness reaches lvl.2. You can replay it in your room if you have already triggered this event in v11. - Take girls to... ... You can take Uno to the basement pool after her intimacy reaches lvl.2. Rachel's story will move forward too~ v11a - Fixed an error in one of Uno's scenes. - Fixed a bug that causes the last scene of Lady Minna unable to trigger (the last scene in the 'others' section of the gallery, can be triggered after satisfying Minna's needs three times.) - Fixed a bug that causes Uno's dungeon option to disappear after her intimacy level reaches 2. v11 - More plots for Lady Minna Don't be fooled by her elegant appearance. This lady is definitely the kinkiest one among all the girls we have in this harem paradise. You will now have a chance to experience her unique fetishes~ Unlock more of her plots after chatting with her three times. - Take Girls to... ... You can take Uno and Theodora outdoors and give them nasty orders after their shamelessness levels reach lvl.2. More girls will be available in future updates. She needs your help and your company desperately right now. - The harem is finally a thing After all this time, girls finally have enough harem acceptance level and now they are willing to share you with their best friends~ v10a - Fixed an issue that would cause an error in Rachel's earlier events. - Added a short introductory event that will show up after you do the 'Cleaning' for the first time. - Added 'Senning met Irene for the first time' scene and all the pool & dungeon scenes in the gallery - Now when you replay a scene through the gallery while in game rather than in the main menu, your name will appropriately appear. - Minor typo fixed v10 -Build the pool You will be able to build the swimming pool in your house. Theodora will definitely like it when it’s done. - A dungeon in your house There is a secret kinky room in your house that hasn’t been discovered yet. Help Vera do the house cleaning to discover it “by accident” - Take Girls to... ... You can take the girls whose Submissiveness reaches lvl.2 to the dungeon you found. In v10, Uno and Elisa can reach that level. You can take the girls whose Intimacy reaches lvl.2 to the pool you built. In v10, Senning and Theodora can reach that level. Once you take girls to those places, you will be able to do some unique interactions with them there. - A new store Senning’s mother, Lady Minna is coming to town. She will stay here for a while until she finishes the issue with you and Senning. During this time, you will be able to find her in her hotel room and buy some oriental costumes for girls~ Unfortunately, you won’t be able to... you know, do the lewd activities with her freely like you did with Posia yet, because I’m not very sure if it’s a good idea to make Senning’s mother a bangable character. There will be a poll about this after v10 is out. - The first alternative ending VIRTUES is going to have many endings and in v10 we are going to present you the first one! But don’t expect it too much because... well, it is a bad ending, hmmmmm... not that bad, but you probably won’t enjoy it. Note that: There won’t be any endings that are related with NTR, death, or injury. - What’s new in the story Vera, Senning, Theodora, and Elisa will have new plots. Note that you don't need to play from the beginning to re-experience those events. And you can now improve your relationship with Theodora. - 22 new short events with 95 new pictures. - 14 New main story events & plots with 425 new pictures. - 5 New Training events with 107 pictures. - 12 New animated scenes. v0.6c In this version, we fixed several bugs and implemented the old video settings back, so the lagging issue should be fixed now. But as a result, the game size became much larger than v0.6b. If you find more bugs & errors, please let me know! v0.6 Main Systemic improvements: - New mechanic: Girl's attributes After your relationships with girls improved from "general" to "girlfriend"&"sex partner", their attributes will show up in their panels. You can level them up and trigger the corresponding plots by raising girls' love points as you did before. - Replaced girls' "lust point" with a new system: "Harem acceptance" All the plots & events that have more than just one girl in will now raise the H.A points of those girls, for example, the event of the MC patting Irene, Vera, and Uno's heads in v0.5 will now raise the H.A points for Irene, Vera, and Uno. New plots will be unlocked when the H.A points of certain girls are high enough (won't be in v0.6 since I am too busy working at Elisa and Uno's storyline). And in the future, when all the girls' H.A points are high, you will be able to get into the harem route. - Added a new original song in the game It is implemented as the main menu's background music. There will be more original music & sound effects in the future. - New location: Beach What's new in the game: - Vera, Irene, Elisa, Uno will have new plots. And you can now improve your relationship with Uno. - 21 new short events with 60 new pictures. - 22 New main story events & plots with 524 new pictures. 421 in the previous update. - 12 New animated scenes. 9 in the previous update. - Reworked 27 old pictures. - Reworked the "drunk rape" scene with Vera. v0.5b - 27 new renders. - Reworked 3 pictures. - Reworked the interactions with Irene after the change of your relationship. - Added a new suit for Irene which can be unlocked after the change of your relationship. - Added a simple debugging tool that can be called out by pressing E, but right now it doesn't have much use yet. - Reduced the size of Android version - Bugs fixed. And here is the bug list that we have fixed: - Error when touching Irene's head after the change of your relationship. - The incorrect pictures in the gallery (the sixth folder from the bottom) - Error when loading a v0.4 save file that was saved during an event. - Error when right-clicking a folder in the gallery to replay the event. - Three events are missed during the prologue (or more specific, during the "bankrupt" plotline) - Vera and Senning's love can be further raised in the prologue after they reached 5. v0.5 Systemic improvements: - Added a new mechanic to raise girls' loves: Girls will now show up randomly at different locations with more than 100 unique repetitive short events . Find them, meet with them, discover more fragments of their lives, and get to know better of their personalities. We will constantly add more short events in future updates. The future short events will mainly focus on how girls get along with each other in harmony and how they get jealous of each other. This game is a harem simulator, and those are what a harem is all about, right? - New location: Dark Alley, Downtown. Location removed: Giftstore. (We have done a huge amount of work on debugging, but considering the restrictions of Renpy engine, there might still be some minor bugs. Feel free to tell us and share your save file with us if you find any bug when loading old saves.) - Huge UI improvements, even huger than what we did in v0.3. - Some of the new 60fps animations will now include head-moving and emotion-changing (Woo hoo, this looks absolutely amazing.) - You can replay scenes with branches in your bedroom now. - Made the saves page & gallery on the Android version easier to be scrolled up and down. Decrease the exp requirement for leveling up MC's ability from 8 to 6. 2. Decrease the weekly land tax & utility fees from $2000 to $1600. 3. Increase the probability for increasing Vera's love through finding her at her workplace from 55% to 70% 4. Rework 61 old images. You can see more detail of it in the "update log supplement". 5. A new main-menu wallpaper. The cover girl for v0.2 is Senning. 6. The "date events" are now repeatable, but no "lust/virtue" changes when repeats. What's new in the game: 1. New branch choice at that drunken night. Now you can choose whether to get Vera with force, or to explore something new. (I highly recommend you to try this new route. I think it has better picture performance and better narrative logic than the old one.) 2. 8 new "love events". Senning and Rachel get 1; Theodora, Irene, and Elisa get 2. 3. 9 new "daily events". 4. 1 new "date event" and 1 "special event".
