From Light, Into Dark is a neo-noir crime thriller centered on 23 year old Jason (customizable name) Janus. Following a near fatal mugging, he finds himself at the heart of a growing conspiracy involving the city of Angel Falls' criminal underworld when his mother is kidnapped. A conspiracy with ramifications that will change his world forever. Note on game content. Spoiler This isn't your typical visual novel with fluff choices. These choices matter, not just in shaping Jason's moral alignment and what choices become available, but in shaping who lives, and who dies. None of the core cast, including love interests, have plot armor. Make the wrong choices, and you can and will lose them (potentially even by Jason's own hand). Despite the grim setting and violence in the game, all full sex scenes are consensual. The game will not contain NTR, so please do not ask. Furthermore, this is NOT a harem game. Trying to play it like one will get you some content in the short run, but you will find out, some of these women do not take kindly to being played. And they will find out.
